0815 Childrens Chess

Chess is a two-person classic strategy board game which simulates a battle between two opposing armies. The play board has 64 squares of alternating colours. Each player has a set of 16 Play Pieces. The object of the game is to checkmate the opponents king. The players continue taking their turns, using only their own pieces, either moving or capturing others pieces. When a Chess piece is captured, it is removed from the Play board and replaced by the attacking piece. The game goes on the same manner until a player checkmates the opponent s King. Checkmate happens when the king is in a position to be captured( in check) and cannot escape from capture. A simple, easy-to- follow, fully illustrated multicolored Book explains the Pieces , their moves and the winning strategy through simple language and bright diagrams.
